Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) is located at Jin Ding town in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. Motorsport started in Zhuhai following a race on its street circuit in 1993; racing continued until 1996 when the motor racing circuit was constructed with Formula One in mind, and was on the provisional F1 calendar for 1999. However, due to logistical problems, the race at Zhuhai was cancelled and the Chiese round of the F1 Championship has been held at the Shanghai International Circuit ever since.
As well as motor sport, the circuit also boasts two international standard 18-hole golf courses designed by world famous designer, J. Michael Peollot - a Mountain Course of 7212 yards and a Lake Course of 6730 yards.
Located in the northern region of Zhuhai city, ZIC is accessible via air, ferry and road. ZIC is convenient to Zhuhai, Macau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou airports.
